Saadian Tombs, Rue de la Kasbah, Kasbah, Marrakech, Morocco
If you’re staying within the Medina or nearby, the Saadian Tombs are easily accessible on foot. As you explore the winding streets of the Kasbah district, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the “Tombeaux Saadiens.” Walking to the tombs allows you to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech and discover other historical sites along the way.
Taking a taxi is a convenient option, especially if you’re coming from outside the Medina or from another part of Marrakech. Simply ask the driver to take you to the “Tombeaux Saadiens” or “Rue de la Kasbah,” and they will drop you off near the entrance. Most taxi drivers are familiar with this popular location, but it’s always a good idea to agree on a fare before starting your journey or ensure the meter is running.
Several public buses operate routes close to the Kasbah district, making the Saadian Tombs easily accessible by public transport. Look for buses heading toward the Kasbah and get off at the nearest stop. From there, it’s just a short walk through the historic streets to the entrance of the tombs.
If you’re driving, you can park in one of the public parking areas near the Kasbah. Due to the narrow streets within the Medina, it’s recommended to park outside and walk to the Saadian Tombs. The tombs are just a short stroll from the parking areas, allowing you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Kasbah district on your way.
